This paper gives an overview of how electricity gets from a fuel source to your home and business, how electricity markets operate, and what policies different states have implemented to reduce electricity prices for their citizens. The report argues that Missouri lawmakers can lower electricity prices by embracing competition and allowing Missourians to choose from competing electric suppliers.
