Springfield is planning a new convention center project, estimated to cost $175 million, with funding coming from a half-cent sales tax, state support, and private partnerships. Join us as Patrick Tuohey, senior fellow at the Show-Me Institute, lays out the pros and cons of subsidies and tax incentives used to fund economic development projects.
