Recently, the Show-Me Institute released a systematic literature review that examined all the best research evidence on four key issues related to four-day school weeks: academic achievement, finances, teacher retention, and parent preferences. The major takeaway from that review was that there is a lack of evidence on the topic.
To help address this lack of evidence, in early October 2023 the Institute contracted with Campaign Marketing Strategies (CMS) to conduct a telephone poll of Missourians regarding their opinions concerning the four-day school week. Click here to read the results and analysis of the survey.
